I just finished my new radiator install. I removed the universal crossflow unit and installed a Northern downflow.
Thisis the new radiator installed.

This is the radiator before installation. The fan is a Spal 1600 CFM puller and is 2.48" thick. I have a full inch of clearance now. I may be able to switch to a Flex-a-Lite 2500 CFM 16" fan if this one has issues.

This is the old radiator. It was pretty close to the water pump. The oldfan was a 17" 2400 CFM electric unit. It moved a lot of air. The fan was in th way of the new power steering pump so it had to go.
