We've had 3 beautiful days and I have driven my car for 3 days now..

If you have the means i highly recommend purchasing a T-5 five speed transmission..

Talk about making the car an even bigger kick in the pants..

I've discovered that I need a bigger carb.. around 70 mph I'm pretty much floored.. although I still gain speed its very slowly..

I now have what sounds like either suspension noise or brake noise..

Another nice day..
So I got the wife's ranchero out of hibernation..
then spent time working on the wagon..
Maybe tomorrow I'll find out if I cured the over heating problem in the wagon and get to driver her..

I'm looking forward to getting a new battery in mine so I can take it to the car wash to pressure wash all the mud off from winter storage. Then it's time to start thinking about front end work after driving it a bit.

Well the wagon is still a nightmare..
I can't get it running to even find out if it will over heat..
I just need to break down and buy a new carb..

I did get to drive my car today and got the exhaust fixed so no more rattle..

Hope tomorrow is nice, so I can drive her before work..

Well we had a few sunny days there a week ago and now it's back to Mr. Yuck weather -- but I do have the wagon back together for the most part and can drive it again. New windshield, reworked stereo (sorry, no 8-track)... can't wait to go cruising myself.

You guys and your fair weather driving! Try commiting to driving the Falcon every day as your only car for 10 years or so. That's how you work the kinks out! :D

The 8-track player is working great! I was just listening to some Tom T. Hall this weekend. Good stuff man!!

it flippin snowed this morning.. what the heck??
there was anywhere from a trace to 3 inches... looks like its melting fast though.

I wanna do more fair weather driving..

Kenny move over to this side of the mountains and see if you continue driving a falcon everyday.. I bet the deep snow would keep you home...

I grew up in Iowa so I could probably strap on some chains and do OK, but...as they say...it's the other idiots on the road you have to worry about. On the rare occasion it snows in Seattle I drive the `96 Ranger. It's already roughed up so I wouldn't feel too bad if it got bashed.

When we had the big snow dump this year we needed ground clearence more than anything else, I don't think a falcon has enough clearence.

My truck even got high centered on a burm in front of the house it was that deep..

Well I think it was in the 80's we had a big snow, I was working at southcenter and it took 3hr to get to eastgate where my falcon was, there was almost 10" of snow on it and getting dark,so three or four times around the parking lot to get up speed to climb the hill by BCC, then it was all down hill to kirkland, kinda. with a 6cyl,3speed and smooth tires I made it, but today I had a nice 45 mile run in the sun and it was great..:shift:..john h

Well we finally had another nice weekend here.
So I spent two days driving the wagon.. What a blast. She will deffinately be a cruiser.. not very fast but gets you there in style.

I have a couple of issues that will need some attention..

I'll post them in the tech area though..
