So who is attending the show? I just registered online. It's coming up soon on June 28. It would be great to meet early and drive in together.

I sent in my registration last week but I'm entering my motorcycle this year. I hope they're not strict about parking so I can sneak in next to you guys...if you'll let me!
I'm not sure if we've actually drove in together as a group before but there's a couple of parking lots on the west edge of Woodland Park Zoo that we could meet in and then just have to cruise up Phinney Ave. N (changes to Greenwood Ave. N) where the entrance to the show is at 70th. A couple of years ago I checked out the lots and they weren't busy early in the AM.
Map attached with red arrows shows the two lots. I'm up for suggestions on when to meet. Otherwise there may be a few who are getting there REALLY early to get in the front of the line who could try to hold a few spots if they'll let us.

I'll be there! I registered some time ago and got my Greenwood Car Show "Owners Manual" in the mail today. If we want to park together, we should meet at one of the zoo parking lots early. They start letting in at 6:30. Don't know if I can get out of bed early enough to be there by then! Maybe we could meet at the south zoo lot (the first one you come to on Phinney) at, I don't know... 7:00?

Sounds good to me but I may have to borrow someone's back seat for a nap later!

My car's interior is somewhat disassembled at the moment, but I may come by on foot with a couple kids in tow. Not 100% sure yet. They say the weather will be great and in the 80's. So if I have to baby sit, I'll be there. If not, then the wagon will be calling my name.

I too will be coming by foot with a kid or two in tow.
Roger, if you put your curtains back in, nobody will see that your interior is in pieces.

Jeff,
There were just holes drilled from where someone had curtains at some time (my guess). I seriously doubt I'll be driving the wagon by the weekend considering I'm still pulling more out rather than putting anything back in yet. regardless it would be rather breezy with all the side windows removed... though I guess that's not much different from a convertible is it?

I think you should reconsider the curtins. A little purple silk may do wonders for your personal life.

 Huh...? My ex LOVED purple and as much as I accommodated her (even painted parts of the inside of my old panel purple), look what that got me...

That will work. I'll see you at the South lot at 7:00 AM. Other pre-registered cars are welcome to join us.
I just got my Greenwood instructions in the mail today.

Great, Pat! I'll see you there.
Note for anyone else who wants to meet us there: We're meeting at the lot at N 50th and Fremont instead of the lot on Phinney as I had previously stated .

I thought this years show was a really nice one! The weather was great although that may have been because we got a perfect spot with afternoon shade. A little lighter on the Falcons than other years but I can't complain since I didn't bring mine. I think the nice weather brought out a lot more spectators that had never been to the show before.
And I forget the car count they announced but I know it was 600 and something. I'm sure lowering the entry fee really helped.
Oh...and I finally won an award! "Motorcycle 1960-1969" Granted I may have been the only one in my class but still...

Did any one see a Viper Red 1965 Hardtop at the show....and if so any pictures of it? I sold the car last year and while it was pretty nice with an outstanding paint job etc the new owner told me a month or so ago he was taking it to the next level...like re-chromed bumpers, pulled the engine so he could redo the engine bay...along with a professional buffing job. At the time he hoped to have it at the Greenwood show.
So....if you happen to have seen it or have pictures I sure would be interested.

I think the biggest shock came from having seen Caro and Allie's '63 wagon there. They sold it at the GCS like 3 year ago (?) and the new owners did a major restomod thing to it. I'll try and post some before and after shots when I'm at work.
I don't recall a red hardtop though... but if it was there I took pictures of it.

Geez...that was a real trip to see. Thanks for offering to post the pictures to see the difference Roger. I was in too much shock to go back for my camera! A WTF moment!!!

Yeah.... I wish I hadn't had the kids with me or I would have gone back to look at it again. If you hadn't told me about it I would have never seen their car "in" that one... and I'm still having a hard time doing that.

Hey Kenny,
Your Honda looks great. It reminds me of the 350 Honda I had in high school...except mine was not a scrambler---it had the down-swept pipes...I think it was referred to as a CB 350. I had a lot of fun with that bike!
By the way, THANK YOU for posting a message awhile back about how to search multiple craigslist sites. By doing so, I found my 65 Sprint Hardtop that I sold back in 2004 (a really dumb move) , but now I have it back! I am stoked about it! It' a long story...anyway, I may bring it to the Regionals...but Wagons are great for road trips!

I went back to take a closer look.
Red Leather interior
Randals Rack R&P kit (power)
Ididit chrome column
Billet Specialties steering wheel
17 x 7" billet wheels
225/45R17 tires all around
Big brake slotted disk kit on the front (they put the rotors on the wrong sides - oops)
11" rear stock style disks - looks to be from a Versailes
Lots on chrome added to the original 260
Metalic silver/gray paint
