Hello... I'm again considering installing a 4-Link rear suspension in my 61 Futura. I've looked at RideTech, TCI, Heidts and a couple others. I would appreciate any feedback and recommendations from anyone that has experience with installing a 4-Link in a Falcon. Also, any recommendation regarding exhaust routing to the rear of the car around, under or thru the 4-Link.

If needed, here is a little more about the car. I am running a 302 based Dart block 363 cu in stroker with a C-4 transmission and a Maverick 8" rearend. The car is built as a "driver" but with plenty of power.

Any/all recommendation very much appreciated.

Thanks - Fred

I have a 63 convertible so the TCI is not compatible. I went with the Ride Tech kit and it was excellent. Great quality, fit perfectly, and good instructions.

Thanks... I've been looking primarily at TCI & RideTech. I would like to keep the exhaust routed out the rear and would prefer to not run it under the rearend. Where did you route your exhaust with the RideTech? Were you able to run it to the rear thru the 4-link? A picture would be great. Thanks again.

I don't have a picture but the exhaust goes over the axel no problem. I have dual exhaust that runs out the back

I have TCI front and rear on my 64 convertible. It's OK, but now I probably would not have bothered changing. The setup includes a 9" rear end. Since it's a convertible, I can't fit an AOD so I run a C4. I also have a Dart 363 from Ford Strokers. The TCI setup is very stiff of a ride. The motor is a mild build and just dynoed at 350 rear wheel HP. Dave
