It's been a while. Here's what I'm up to.
Rewire under hood and upgrading to full sequential fuel and spark.
Eight new coils
Rewire with TXL wire throughout
Deutsch HD30 series connectors at firewall
New 3G alternator
Under dash brake booster to cleanup firewall
New Cam (not really - reinstalled original cam)

Drilling giant holes in the firewall was scary. It will look good when done. All of the car's wiring will go through these two plugs.

I ordered the under dash brake booster kit today. It's a kit from RRS and relocates the clutch and brake masters to under the dash. This will clean up the firewall and make room for the coils mounted to the valve covers.
I've been working mainly on the wiring. The under hood work is almost complete. I'm not looking forward the the under dash work.

I splurged for a new ECU. It uses the same system as my old one (MS3x) but is a sealed box with proper connectors, warranty, and support.

The new ECU is mounted. It's mounted to the backside of the firewall right above the heater box. This is a big upgrade from the crappy attempt to mount the prior ECU with velcro. You can see the old velcro above in one of the photos. It will be a shore wire run from the back of the new bulkhead to the ECU. This should keep the wiring clean.

I'm installing a new battery hot wire as part of the cleanup. There was a factory yellow with black stripe on the old bulkhead. I'm keeping the original yellow. There are now two 12G TXL yellow wires connected to a MRBF 30A fuse. I used 12G because it's the largest that will fit the new bulkhead. I'll take the two 12G wires and splice them to a single 10G under the dash.

Here is some work on the under dash sub-harness. This connects the rear of the bulkhead fittings to the new EFI controller. It's not complete. I need to get the shielded wire for the 36-1 crank wheel done plus any of the stock Falcon wiring such as headlights, turn signals, horn, fan, etc..

This is what it looks like installed. The green tape was just to help me keep wires straight while building.

I guess there's no room for EPAS now. That was fun under dash work.

I just did a Sniper 1 install on my mine last year. Wouldn't you know it they release a version 2 just a few months later.
I'm betting yours will be less buggy. So far (no miles on it since I completed it in November), so good.

I had to step away for a while. I came back home and found this. It's an under dash booster setup. This will cleanup the engine side of the firewall.

Looking very clean and neat. I don't understand how the under dash booster works. Pics and explanation for my meager mind? Thanks Larry
