I have been doing a lot of searching without a lot of success. Maybe I'm search illiterate.
On a 6 cyl Falcon, if one is staying with a drum brake setup, what's the best way to convert to a 5 lug from the original 4 lug. I see there are adapters available but then see people comment that those move the weight outward with the wheel and increase stress and wear on the suspension. Is it a matter of 5 lug hubs and drums on the front. I see a lot of discussion around replacing the rear axles for the rear of the car. But, the internet rabbit hole can create a lot of confusion for simple minded folk like me.
Yeah, most will say to convert to front disc most but this is a budget constraint scenario.
By the way, the reference car would be a 1962.
