Hello there!

Hope everyone is doing well and healthy. I'm looking to replace my broken side shield on both my front bucket seats. I cant seem to figure out how to remove then. I checked the shop manual for my model and it talks about how to replace/repair the upholstery or the seat track, but not much about the side shields.
Can anyone share where I can find the info/instructions on how to remove them. I'm learning as I go and I want to be careful not to damage the upholstery since its in great condition. I appreciate the help, thank you all for your time.

Best,

Jess

I did some work on 63 buckets, but for whatever reason they didn't have shields that wrapped front to rear as yours might be. In general though the seat back will have its covers that cover the hinge parts and then you have to remove the seat back off the studs that they are attached to. This will expose the holes most likely part of the shield going though for these studs. Then there will be screws in the back and up front to take off the shield. This is work most likely done with the seats out of the car so you can spin and twirl the seats to see all the hardware as needed. Take your time, and go slow.

Did I just repeat myself?
