Well I've joined the group! I sold the trailer, the power stroke, and the RV. This is my new daily driver and I can fix it all myself. Got tired of those $1000 repair bills every time you can't fix it yourself.
So I'm down to the delivery and my bronco. And I love it.

And here, all this time, I thought you founded that group!
And thanks - now I got that Britney Spears song stuck in my head.

I guess I kinda belong to this group too. Last year I got rid of my powerboat. This year I got rid of my 5th wheel RV and the (too big for me) truck to pull it. I've graduated down to a clean little 10 year old Ranger for my daily driver, and of course, the Ranchero. And..... I feel good about all of it.

Well its not as cool as Steve's Bronco.
It doesn't even look pretty either.
Its a 57 international A100
With a 371 ci olds engine.
The motor runs, i have to locate a radiator, and I'm building a driveshaft.

Great truck. I had a 1968 International truck that was such a fun truck to drive. It was not fast but it would move anything. On the way to work one night on third shift at Boeing a drunk young lady sideswiped me at the driver side rear bumper. It moved the truck over and when I got out I just new the whole left side was destroyed.
Mine had a great bid diamond steel bumper on the back similar to what I see on yours. She was driving a triumph convertible and it totaled her car. Tore the whole drivers side off her car, destroyed the front and rear, tore off the rear wheel. Her and the other girl in the car were to drunk to get hurt.
When the cops showed up he came over to document the damage on my truck. He listed "white paint on drivers side of rear bumper". That was it, not dents, nothing.
Wish I had that truck again. Good luck and keep us up to speed on the work. Larry

A similar thing happened to me in '82 while driving my '56 F100 panel down the freeway. Noticed out the corner of my eye a car coming from the fast lanes all the way over to the slow lane where I was driving. Hit me in the DS rear corner and then went all the way to the fast lane side again. While I waited for WSP to arrive I noticed I had a bent rear bumper and no other damage. The car that hit me was an 79 Mustang and the entire right front was caved in about two feet. Not sure today why I was allowed to just leave, but I wasn't required to stay. I think they were wasted and I didn't think the damage was worth pressing charges for. Makes me scratch my head today.
These older truck are safe as heck, I say.

Steve, where in the heck did you find a nice half cab bronco?

I actually traded my enclosed trailer for it. I used the trailer more to move other people's stuff than for myself so bye bye it went.
Then I didn't need the diesel to pull the trailer , so bye bye it went.
Put a bit of money into the bronco including the fiberglass half cab top. And the rest is well "oooops".

Not this one. She is my daily driver. Most she'll see is the occasional forest service road on the way to go fishing. I'm getting to old for the mud and rocks. :WHATTHE:
