Please take a look at this photo, this set up is for a 1969 Ford Mustang with a 200 ci inline six cylinder mated to a heavy duty top loader three speed manual transmission.
I got all the replacement parts I needed, which look identical to the old parts I removed, and things are not lining up.
I replaced the pressure plate, the clutch, put in a new clutch fork, and new clutch release bearing, again, everything that was replaced looks identical to the parts I removed.
I bolted the bell housing on and this photo demonstrates what's wrong. The clutch fork is mounted properly on the fulcrum, it is the same fork as the one that came out and the fork and part number for this year and model Mustang. I'm trying to figure out what's what but thought I'd see what fellow forum members think...
Thanks
