We drove The Wonder Falcon from Tampa to Sunken Gardens in St. Petersburg today.

Sunken Gardens was a big Florida tourist attraction from the 1940's through the early 1960's. It and a lot other small independent attractions were eventually driven out of business after Disney World and Sea World opened up in Orlando. Sunken Gardens was bought by the City of St. Petersburg in 1999 and has been maintained since then as a City park.
