Interesting rails on the side of the bed. Never seen those on anything.
Miss those old family burgers... today's A&W family burger isn't the same as the old.

They are for the people in the back to hang on to when steaking down the hi-way. I think they were a option to tie rope to pull a sled in the winter..jh[yay]

Yea, I progressed from Baby Burger to Teen Burger to Papa Burger and I remember those frosty mugs (a few may have made their way into my kitchen cabinet).
The one we went to had "Walking Tacos". Open a bag of Fritos, dump in the chili, sprinkle with cheese, and dig out with a fork. And they put bacon on the burger if you wanted. A bit unusual back then.
Makes my arteries clog just thinking about it!
