So I listed this 64 Comet in my signature, now to show off a picture. Got my Grenada disc breaks, and duel master cylinder installed. Spent many hours drilling the spot rivets out to fix my fresh air vent leaks, and then removed part of the floor pans, and thinking while the floor is cut out, might be a good time to install some sub-frame connectors.

Sounds like you're doing it right! If I ever paint my Falcon again I will do so much more body repair than I did the first time. Taking the cowl off is a lot of work but the only way to get in their and fix it right.

Yep, been there, done that.
I still think they should make a removable upper cowl panel so we only need to "cut the lid off" and then screw on a new upper panel after you clean it out and repair it down below. This would be OK, I suppose, if the bottom wasn't too bad, but by the time most of us have been there, doing that, there wasn't much left on the lower part to repair. Like Steve, most of the rot was on the lower part.
Anyway, good luck! Show as many pictures as you like. We all like to watch things happen. Like seeing paint on a certain sedan delivery.
