I might need to add a flex fuel sensor to my Megasquirt system.

I work where we make fuel monitoring systems (FloScan) and ethanol-based fuels have been playing havoc with us and others for a long time. Rubber parts needing to be changed, etc. Corrosion due to water (ethanol is a lot of water and tends to cause separation of these petroleum from the ethanol in certain conditions).
Seems to me that for us car collectors things like metal fuel tanks and floats, and all the steel lines, and anyone with a carburetor would be at great risk of ultimate failure due to an increase of ethanol.
We may have to do like those in the marine industry do - put a fuel water separator on our cars to keep water out of the system. And put in plastic fuel tanks that don't rust.
