I put this off for a while because I have big hands and had heard horror stories about getting the speedometer cable detached and then reattached. Anyway, I got er done albeit with some scratches and dings to my hands and associated digits. The old speedometer bezel had some cracks on the left side that had been repaired and the lense needed to be replaced. I put the new(er) bezel in and a new lense with chrome cones in and attached all wires and bulbs. I removed the air vent control that is attached to the e-brake to make more room for my body and hand(s) to re-attach the speedometer cable. It only took a few minutes to get the cable in and tightened. Here are the results.
