Does anyone have an old v-8 valve cover sitting around that you were thinking about discarding? My friendly neighbor who has helped me so much with my car thinks we should set my valves again. He thinks they can be better adjusted to cut down on a little noise. So he asked me to try and find an old steel type valve cover that we can cutout the top, fold over the flap and then gain access to the rockers. I guess the oil doesn't get all over everything that way. New, to me. But he was a ford mechanic for years and he sure knows his stuff, so, any scrap part would be helpful.

I can probably get one at the junk yard for not much, but thought first I would try here. Badbird AKA Larry

See - here is another one I missed. I probably have a few - though I know I gave some to Steve to powder coat. You're probably past needing this by now.

I still need one if you have an extra to get rid of. IF you have one, can you bring it to the meeting tonight? Badbird

I'll go look and see what I have left. Will bring it if I have one.

Sorry for the late response, Larry. I've got one in the garage for you and bringing it tonite.

Thanks Gene. I don't seem to have any spares now. Must have sold them at the swap or gave them to Steve to practice powder coating on.
