Well as I mentioned previously about installing all my wiring I was done except for the backup switch and neutral safety switch. There isn't room for the stock backup switch and the Lokar shift lever link on the output shaft for the shifter. Went to the Lokar web site and they have an aftermarket switch but only for the GM transmissions.
I talked to their technical rep who said that what most C4 transmission owners are doing is installing a lighted toggle switch on the bottom of the dash.
Then you toggle the switch when you are backing up and the light on the switch reminds you to turn it off when you go forward. Hokey idea. But, not sure what else to do.
He did mention that folks have modified the GM backup switch they sell but all the support bracketry has to be fabricated and that C4 owners have usually opted for the toggle switch even after they tried theirs due to operation problems.
