Emerbency Brake

I installed the front emergency brake cable. But, the rod that goes from
the pivot arm to the half moon clevis where the rear cable attaches is now about an inch short. Anyone run into this problem before and if so, how did you rectify the issue?

I didn't find anything wrong with the way I had the cables routed so I used a long bolt and bent it to match the original and hooked it up. Looks OK and the emergency brake installation is now complete.
