My wife had a thought the other day. She told me I should find a wrecked 2 door wagon (62-63), and cut it off behind the doors and use the back of it to make a matching trailer for my sedan delivery?
What do you guys think of that? I would have to find a car that was smashed in front cause I wouldn't want to chop up a good one, but should be pretty straight forward after that. We plan on useing the car to take to shows and so forth to help promote the powder coating shop.
The hard part might be finding a donor car. Hmmmm?

You could use a Ranchero to for an open trailer. I like the idea of the closed look.

I've thought of doing the same thing with a 64/65 tudor wagon... but have never found one cheap enough or wrecked. Everything in between though... :( Have also considered the Ranchero thing... and even had one once, but didn't have the space then to do it. Gave it away.
How much you wanna bet that would be a pretty big project too? :)

You know me... No job to big ???? I have 2 ranchero's now and know where a third one is. I am leaning towards the enclosed idea.
Everyone keep your eyes open if I find the right candidate I will give it a shot.:rocker:

I've seen a four door cut up into a trailer..
front fenders and hood rear quarters and trunk.
it was painted red and towed behind another falcon..
I've also seen a ranchero turned into a trailer.. think that trailer had the rare tonnaeu cover..
a wagon would be neat but that glass is heavy..

I figured if I find a wrecked two door wagon I would use the back, pull the glass and make panels for the sides to match the delivery I have now???
Problem would be finding a 2 door with a smashed front, cause I sure don't want to hack up a restore-able unit.
I need to stop breeding the rancheros first I think.:D
