 My Falcon is a Deluxe model, which has four plastic pieces on the dash. Of course, they are badly deteriorated to mostly creamy colored plastic, but not broken or cracked. They are in dire need of re-finishing. Does anyone have a resource, or can you steer me to a resource, that shows the detail surrounding the FALCON lettering on the passenger side? Is the entire area just Argent or are the letters in black? A clear photo would be GREAT! Thanks in advance.

PDQ Restorations used to do dash stuff up in Canada, but their link in our resources page is now bad (404 Not Found). I recall Pat posting something about dash refinishing in my Interior Redo thread, so I'll go have a look there after breakfast and see what that was.

Gene,

The place Patrick mentioned in that thread of mine was this place:

Looks like they'd do the entire dash for about $475, but I'd call them first.

Sorry I don't have any pictures of what you asked about. I have a pretty plain dash.

Thanks Roger, I shot them an e-mail regarding my pieces. Don't know if I want to spend that kind of money.

$15:

$10:

or color of your choice.

Just sayin'...

You can put the money you save toward something more visible like the "blueline" tires you mentioned. Although this brochure doesn't show ant blueline pictures - it looks like they add it to any modern tire - many sizes and in radials.

Here is one more resource for the dash pieces, although I agree they are quite expensive.

www.AutoKrafters.com or www.cvvacuumplaters.com

You can get the 4 pc Delux dash for $450
