I've owned this rig for 12 years and reluctantly offer it for sale to make room in the garage for a little Porsche that stolen my heart. This truck is very solid and stock bodied but has many mods under it's faded red paint.
Here goes:
Motor: 5.0 Roller cam (Mustang GT), Pro Rebuilt and balanced, 30 thou. overbore, Mobil 1, Holley 600 carb, Edelbrock Performer intake, windage tray, Unilite (pointless) Distributor, 289 Hipo Manifolds, custom dual side exit exhaust (Flowmaster 40s), Optima battery sitting on freshly rebuilt battery tray and surrounding inner fender.
Trans. T-5 (5 speed) rebuilt, short shift kit
3.55 rear gears (perfect with tranny) 8"
Recent r. axle bearings, Redline Synthetic oil.
Steering: Flaming River Box, "Shelby" (quicker) pittman and idler arms, fully rebuilt front end and alignment.
Suspension: Eibach progressive front springs, Granada front discs, rebuilt rear brakes, new brake cylinders, all new brake lines, KYB shocks., heavy Mustang front and rear anti-sway bars, Monte Carlo and under oil pan structural additions, custom built 7x15 steel wheels (need sandblasting and powdercoating), custom welded and gusseted subframe connectors.
Fuel tank: boiled out, pressure tested, Por15 lined, new sending unit/filler hose, new SS fuel line.
Car runs /drives well - I hope to sell it to someone who will continue to garage keep it. $6,000.
