    Cruzin to Colby

I thought I would tell anyone who is interested, that I will be doing the Cruz to Colby on 5/24/09. It is from 3:00 to 6:00. If the weather is good, it's a good time. Hope to see some Falcons there.

Thanks for that information. Have always wanted to do this show, but never have.

So, what do they mean "to have a half tank of gas to prevent boil-overs?" What does gas in the tank to do with overheating?

So this looks like a "got to pre-register" show only if you do the cruise -- or you could go to just the show on Monday and pay, what, $25 for just that? Man, car shows are getting to the point where you got to take out a second mortgage to do a few of them.

I think they might be talking about having to much gas in the tank,
and it could expand and leak out? I don't remember it getting that hot
outside. But when you are doing the cruise your mostly idling. I did have a little over heating one year. Ya it is getting a little spendy. I don't do to many shows. I would rather be racin!

I was hoping to make it, but I opened a can of worms with a house project and now I'm kind'a committed (or should be committed). I will do both Greenwood and Bellevue though.

    Lonely Little Falcon

Well the show was great..... there were over 840 cars registered. The weather was great. I was the only falcon there. There was a 65 Ranchero there that I had never seen before. Met Alsprint. I told a few people about the club. Was wearing my Roger designed Rainier Falcon baseball shirt. It was a great car show.

It was a great show. I must have walked 10 miles looking for all the Falcons. Only saw the two. Hope I can make it next year it was a lot of fun with good food and the music wasn't bad either. Larry

There was a red 64 convertible with white in between the trim strips on the sides. I didn't see yours. Everything was spread out a long ways. Larry
