I guess, if possible, we get the big "F" logo on the web site with a link to the Facebook page. Yes?

Good idea Roger. You're full of 'em!

Pat would have to do it. Here's a link to their logo downloads page:

So..... I don't have a FB account and don't really want one. Is there a way to see this w/o having an account?

But seriously, no. Facebook requires membership to look at anything. Kind of a pain system, but I suppose that's what it's all about.

I with you 100% Jeff (NOT the finding a new treasurer part, but rather the NOT joining FB part).

I had to join FB for work when we added it as a means of attracting more customers - or allowing for allowing our customers to communicate with us who would otherwise not. I personally don't like Facebook because there is no easy way to disassociate my personal life from that of work (or in this case the Rainier Falcon Club). I get so many customers trying to "friend me" and I don't want to friend them. So I feel a jerk for not doing so. But that is the line I draw.

Also, it allowed me to connect with my family, whom otherwise I'd not hear from for years, but a big part of me wants to un-friend them, my own family, because they tend to just use it as a means of using expletives (cursing) for no other reason than to do it. That irritates me. I don't communicate that way.

So, for those of you who don't want to join - don't. It will not be a mark against you in any way. Consider it just another avenue to reach people we might not otherwise reach. As long as we, whose goal it is to draw people into the club, use it as a tool to do so and not a replacement for the club forum, then we can make everyone happy. I still plan to use this forum 95% of the time. Meaning I'll devote 5% of my time to monitoring it.
