If your timing marks are gone you could try to tune with a vacuum gauge.
That could be true, My car also sat for at around 30 years in a basement before I pulled her out in 2002.
A bit late maybe, spotted iyour post just now
These come to mind:
Is your timing still on? Mine slipped because the hold down clamp was not secure enough, gave me lots of trouble before I found...
Yes I did. It turned out pretty good. Now after 25 years some cracks have reoccurred, but not as noticable as the original cracks.
There is a tutorial on line on how to do it, it was linked to the...

Mine had too much play so the car failed inspection. As far as I researched then the seat slides can not be disassembled. I belive only the nuts and atraching bolts can be removed. I had to replace...
Oh, That's one nice gal you've got there.
Digging the rear wheel covers (my wife dislikes them, otherwise they'd be on mine as well).
Looks like your inner door opening handle on the ds front door...
BTW, I just looked at your 3 pics on a normal screen in stead of a phone, what a nice looking falcon. Very nice colour!!
For anyone also looking. They look a lot like mine in a 64. I think 60-65 should interchange. Opens up some more search avenues
Hi.
Welkome to the experience of filling up your falcon.
My workaround is not inserting the pistol alle the way and keep a close watch on the filler neck. You should see the fuel comming up and...
HI Turbocluck,
I'd consider myself a purist, but that's mostly due to my OCD (if it was designed like this, rebuilt it like this), but I've been known to stray from it, mostly for practical...
NIce, but won't it get too hot, I believe cat's do get hot?
That's one beautifull bird!
I was on tffn as wel and found this site after the demise.
Good luck with her!
ooh that's a nice survivor.
I have the same hubcaps, If you're missing some, there were a lot of them on e-bay the beginning of this year for decent prices.
+1 on the dual master upgrade. I found...
Yes youll have to unscrew the window rails from the inside.
My crank sometimes slips as well. It sort of jumps out of connection with the regulator mechanism.
Even after replacing the locking...
Is it part of an electrical assembly.
Im fairly sure ny hand crancked tailgate does not have one.
Whahahaha
I'll be right besides you
ROFL
The official engine hoist points are the two holes that are on the intake log.
The enige would list to the ps side when hoisting.
I got mine out with some handy dandy chain and strap work.
I did...
Nice. Really like the rims.
Would not be my first choice, im more of an original setup guy, but in combination with the other mods very cool looking.
Falconparts has the complete divisiin bar with the felt.
I replaced everything when I was restoring the car.
I haven't seen this material at any of tge swap meets ive been to.
Im afraid yore...
Ok.
Isn't it called an Elanor nose? He put lights in the recess in the middle. That looked cool.
Are you going to do the same?
Hi Roger,
Yes not many people recognize my car even as a ford.
We starred on some local olditmer spotted sites. Reactions were always of amazement that it was a ford and that it is an original...
On TFFN there was also someone building a falcon with just such a front bumper setup.
He actually produced them.
It looked pretty cool.
Nice looking front!
