1965 v8 Ranchero

Ive been trying to sell a 1965 ranchero with a 289 that I have been working on for the last 5 years since I was 14. Ive done a lot of good work to it and its running and looks a lot better then when I got whole of it. However Ive been trying to sell it for 5500 after buying it for 3500 and putting close to 6000 into it. (which was way too much i know now) the guy filled me with lies about things he replaced that I have had to replace since then as well as the value.

Any Ideas on what I could actually get for it. I need to get a new car that can handle a commute and gets decent gas mileage.
